How texting works. We only text people who contacted the business first: someone who called the business's number, or who entered their mobile number and checked the consent box when booking or requesting a quote. Messages are about that call, booking, or inquiry only. No marketing. Message frequency varies, typically one message per call or booking. Msg & data rates may apply. Apiary Labs LLC ("Apiary Labs", "we", "us") provides missed-call text-back, online booking, and inquiry-response services to small businesses ("our clients"). This policy explains what we collect when you interact with one of our clients through our services, and how we use it.
What we collect
- When you call a business that uses our service: your phone number (caller ID), and the time and outcome of the call.
- When you book or request a quote: the details you enter, such as your name, mobile number, email, the service or event, and the date and time.
- When you text us: your phone number and the message content, including opt-out requests (STOP).
- Basic technical data such as server logs needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To send you the text you'd expect after contacting the business: a booking link after a missed call, a booking confirmation, or a reply to your inquiry.
- To let the business see your call, booking, or inquiry so they can follow up with you.
- To honor opt-outs: if you reply STOP, we record your number so you are not texted again.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
Text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or telecommunications providers that deliver messages, is permitted. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We never sell your personal information.
Who we share with
- The business you contacted, which uses the information to serve you.
- Service providers that help us run the service (for example, our telecommunications provider, hosting, and scheduling tools), only as needed to provide it.
- Legal: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Retention
We keep records only as long as needed to provide the service to the business you contacted, honor opt-outs, and meet legal obligations. Opt-out records are kept so we can keep honoring them.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from that number. Reply HELP for help. To ask for access to or deletion of your information, email hello@apiarylabshq.com.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
